HCSL 2025 Notification Out For AGM, JTA, Project Officers, Translator And Workmen Posts

Hooghly Cochin Shipyard Limited (HCSL) has invited applications from eligible candidates for various contractual posts. A total of 22 vacancies are open for positions including Assistant General Manager (Projects & Operations), Junior Technical Assistants, Project Officers, Hindi Translator, and Workmen roles.

As per the notification, the maximum age limit varies between 30 to 45 years depending on the post. Selected candidates will receive a monthly consolidated salary ranging from Rs. 20,200 to Rs. 80,000. The selection process will include a written test, interview, or skill/trade test as per the role.

Educational Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications for their respective posts:
AGM (Projects & Operations) requires a degree in Engineering with 15 years of post-qualification experience.
Junior Technical Assistants must have a diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Project Officers need an Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil disciplines along with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
The Hindi Translator position requires a Master’s Degree in Hindi with English studied at the degree level.
Workmen posts require ITI, SSC, or a relevant trade certificate depending on the specific role.

Age Limit
The age limit for AGM is a maximum of 45 years.
For Project Officers and Workmen, the upper age limit is 30 years.
Junior Technical Assistants and the Hindi Translator post have a maximum age limit of 35 years.
All age limits are as of 16th September 2025 and relaxations are applicable as per government rules.
