Redmi K Pad was launched in China on Thursday alongside the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 and Redmi K80 Ultra smartphones. This latest Android tablet from the Xiaomi sub-brand features an 8.8-inch display with 3K resolution and is sold in three colour options. The tablet is available with up to 16GB of RAM and a maximum 1TB of storage. The Redmi K Pad runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset and houses a 7,500mAh battery.
The Redmi K Pad is priced at CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs. 33,000) for the base 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage model.
The 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB RAM and storage variants are priced at CNY 3,099 (roughly Rs. 37,000), CNY 3,399 (roughly Rs. 40,000), CNY 3,599 (roughly Rs. 42,000), and CNY 4,199 (roughly Rs. 50,000), respectively. The tablet is available in Deep Black, Smoky Purple, and Spruce Green colourways.
The Redmi K Pad runs on Android 15-based HyperOS 2. It features an 8.8-inch 3.5K resolution display with 165Hz refresh rate, 403ppi pixel density, 700 nits peak brightness, and 372Hz touch sampling rate. The screen has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The display has a 16:10 aspect ratio. The tablet runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, alongside up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
For photos and videos, the Redmi K Pad has a 13-megapixel OV13B rear camera sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. It features an 8-megapixel front-facing OV08F camera with an f/2.28 aperture for selfies and video chats.
Connectivity options on the Redmi K Pad include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. The tablet has two USB Type-C ports and is equipped with stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support. The tablet gets a 12,050mm sq liquid cooling system for thermal management. It includes a dual X-axis linear motor.
The Redmi K Pad carries a 7,500mAh battery and supports 67W charging and 18W reverse charging. It measures 205.13×132.03×6.46mm and weighs 326g.
