Jammu & Kashmir High Court Hiring Drivers – 13 District Cadre Posts, Apply Online Now

The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has invited online applications for the post of Drivers Grade-II in the District Judiciary of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. A total of 13 posts are to be filled under Pay Level-2 (₹19,900–₹63,200) through this recruitment drive.

As per the official advertisement, only domiciled candidates of Jammu & Kashmir are eligible to apply. The application window will be active from 28 June 2025 to 15 July 2025, and the fee payment must also be completed within this period. Applications are to be submitted only through the official recruitment portal of the High Court.

Candidates must hold valid domicile and category certificates (if applying under reservation) as on the cut-off date. Incomplete applications or those without proper documentation will be rejected. Applicants are advised to retain copies of the application form and fee receipt for future reference.

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification: 10th with Valid LMV/HMV Driving License.

Candidates applying must be domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and must upload a valid domicile certificate while applying. The age limit as on 01 January 2025 is:
Open Merit: 40 years
SC Category: 43 years
Government/Contractual Employment: 40 years

Reservation benefits will be given as per the Jammu & Kashmir Reservation Act, 2004 and subsequent amendments. Candidates must possess valid reservation category certificates as on the cut-off date.

Application Fee:
The application fee is ₹400 for all categories. Payment is to be made through online mode only. Applications without the fee will be rejected.

Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be based on the test/examination process as decided by the High Court. Merely possessing the required qualification does not entitle a candidate to be called for test/examination.
