Girl honoured for educational work

Srinagar, Jun 26: Meher Un Nisa from Anantnag was honoured in the London Parliament for her work in the field of education in India, a press release said.

An event was held at the House of Lords in London on June 16 evening. British Conservative Party MP and Parliament Under Secretary Commonwealth Andrew Richard Rosin dell was the chief guest of the event.

Many politicians and other officials of UK Government were also present in the programme along with Lord Rami Ranger. People working in various fields in India were honoured in the programme. Mehar Un Nisa from Aarni University Kangra Himachal Pradesh was honoured in the field of education.
