SRINAGAR: An unidentified body was recovered under suspicious circumstances from the Aaribal Pomposh Colony area of Palpora, Noorbagh in Srinagar on Saturday, prompting police to launch an investigation.

According to sources, locals spotted the body in the area and immediately alerted the police.

A police team reached the spot soon after and took custody of the body for medico-legal formalities.
