Jammu Kashmir: LG Assigns Additional Charge of Red Cross Society General Secretary to IAS Officer | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has assigned the charge of General Secretary of the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Branch, to IAS officer Shubhankar Pratyush Pathak following the completion of the tenure of incumbent General Secretary Rohit Khajuria.

According to an order issued by the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat, Shubhankar Pratyush Pathak, IAS, who is presently serving as Additional Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat, shall hold the charge of General Secretary, IRCS JK UT Branch, with effect from June 1, 2026, in addition to his existing duties.

The arrangement has been made consequent upon the expiry of the term of Rohit Khajuria as General Secretary of the Indian Red Cross Society, JK UT Branch, on May 31, 2026.

The order, issued from the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat at Lok Bhavan, Srinagar, states that Pathak will continue to hold the additional charge until further orders.
