SRINAGAR: The Union Territory Administration of Ladakh has revised the official holiday for Eid-ul-Azha (Bakrid), shifting it from May 27 to May 28, 2026.

According to an order issued by the General Administration Department, the holiday will now be observed on Thursday, May 28, instead of Wednesday, May 27. The change has been made as a partial modification to an earlier government notification issued in November 2025.

Officials said all government offices, educational institutions and public establishments will observe the revised date in line with the updated order.
