19-Year-Old Boy Drowns in North Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A 19-year-old youth drowned while bathing in a pond in the Kandi Khass area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Sunday, officials said.

An official said that the deceased was identified as Asrarul Haq, 19, a resident of Kandi Khass Kupwara.

Officials said the youth drowned while bathing in the pond, resulting in his death. The body was later retrieved from the water.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further investigation. (JKNS)
