Driver Killed as Truck Plunges into Gorge in Jammu Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A driver was killed after a truck plunged into a deep gorge in the Nachlana area of Banihal in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.

Reports said the vehicle lost control and fell into the gorge, resulting in the driver’s death on the spot. The identity of the deceased was not immediately known.

Soon after the incident, police and rescue teams rushed to the site and launched an operation to retrieve the body and assess the situation.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident, and further details are awaited.
