
SRINAGAR: The Drug Control Department Anantnag, in coordination with Police Doru, conducted a surprise inspection of medical shops in the Doru area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday.
Officials said that during the inspection, Khan Medical Shop at Doru, owned by Mohammad Ishaq Khan, son of Ghulam Hassan Khan, a resident of Nadoora Doru, was found allegedly selling medicines without maintaining proper records.
Following the violations, authorities ordered the shop to remain closed until further notice and directed the owner to appear before the District Office Anantnag for further proceedings.
The inspection team later returned to Anantnag after completing the drive in the area. (JKNS)
