Jammu Kashmir: Govt Orders Transfers and Postings of Junior Scale JKAS Officers | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir ordered a fresh round of transfers and postings in the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS and CA), affecting several Junior Scale JKAS officers and in-charge officials across Kashmir and Jammu divisions.

According to Government Order No. 45-JK(FCS and CA) of 2026, issued by the Civil Secretariat, Srinagar, on May 9, the reshuffle has been effected in the interest of administration with immediate effect.

As per the order, Bilal Ahmad Najar, previously Assistant Director, FCS and CA Ganderbal, has been transferred to Srinagar (South) and assigned additional charge of Assistant Director, Mills, Kashmir, and Assistant Director, Supplies, Kashmir.

Shohab Latief, earlier posted in Srinagar (South) with multiple additional responsibilities, has been posted as Assistant Director, FCS and CA Srinagar (North). He will continue to hold the charge of Assistant Director, Stores Kashmir, and has also been given additional charge of Assistant Director, FCS&CA Budgam.

Rehana Tabassum, who was awaiting adjustment, has been posted as Assistant Director, Mills, Jammu, and will also hold additional charge of Assistant Director, Supplies, Jammu.

Naseer Ahmad Baba, earlier posted in Bandipora with additional charge of Supplies Kashmir, has been transferred to Ganderbal as Assistant Director, FCS and CA, while retaining additional charge of Bandipora.

Naimatullah, serving in Ramban, has been assigned additional responsibilities of Doda and Kishtwar districts in addition to his existing posting.

Rohit Kumar has been moved from Rajouri and posted as Assistant Director, Trade and Stores, Jammu, while Santosh Kumar has been transferred from Rural-II Jammu to Rajouri.

Khalil Ahmed, who was awaiting adjustment orders, has been posted as Assistant Director, FCS and CA Poonch.

In another adjustment, Iftikhar Ahmad, currently posted in Pulwama, has been given additional charge of Shopian along with his existing duties.
