Defence Research Laboratory (DRL), DRDO has released the official notification inviting applications from young and motivated candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) posts. There are 05 vacancies available under this fellowship.

Eligibility Criteria of DRDO DRL JRF Recruitment 2026

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have any one of the following qualifications:

M.Pharm
M.S (Pharm)
M.Tech (Pharm)
M.Tech in Pharmaceutics
M.Tech in Pharmacology and Toxicology
M.Tech in Pharmacology
M.Tech in Pharmaceutical Chemistry

Age Limit: Maximum age should not exceed 28 years as on the date of interview.

Age Relaxation:
SC/ST candidates: 05 years
OBC candidates: 03 years

Stipend and Tenure Details

Stipend: Selected candidates will receive Rs. 37,000 per month along with HRA.

Tenure: The fellowship will initially be for 2 years. Based on performance, it may be upgraded to Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and extended for 3rd and 4th year if required.

Selection Process of DRDO DRL JRF Recruitment 2026

Selection will be done through walk in interview.

Candidates must carry original certificates, testimonials, Aadhaar card and one set of photocopies of all documents at the time of interview. Candidates should also carry copies of published research papers and thesis if available.
