JEE Main Cut-off Explained :
The JEE Main cut-off refers to the minimum percentile required to qualify for JEE Advanced and to be eligible for JoSAA counselling.
According to official guidelines, results for Paper 1 and Paper 2 are prepared using the final answer key.
Candidates receive 4 marks for every correct answer
1 mark is deducted for each incorrect response
As the exam is conducted across multiple shifts, raw scores are normalised to account for variations in difficulty. These normalised values are then converted into NTA scores to ensure fairness for all candidates.
