SRINAGAR: Earthquake tremors were felt across parts of Kashmir at around 8:26 am on Saturday, causing brief panic among residents.
The tremors were experienced in several areas, prompting people to rush out of homes and buildings as a precaution. However, there were no immediate reports of damage to property or loss of life at the time of filing this report.
Authorities are monitoring the situation, while details regarding the magnitude and epicentre of the seismic activity are awaited.
