Jammu Kashmir: Govt Orders MVI Transfers Across ARTO Offices | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has ordered the transfer and posting of two Motor Vehicles Inspectors (MVIs) with immediate effect to ensure smooth functioning of the Transport Department.

According to Order No. 57-TC of 2026 dated April 15, 2026, issued by the Office of the Transport Commissioner, Vishesh Paul Mahajan, MVI Rashid Rehman Mir has been transferred from ARTO Anantnag to ARTO Office Baramulla, while MVI Pervez Ahmad Khan has been shifted from ARTO Office Baramulla to ARTO Office Anantnag.

All concerned officials have been deemed relieved from their present places of posting with immediate effect and have been directed to report to their new assignments without any delay.
