Eligibility Criteria of Passport Office Srinagar Young Professional Vacancies

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have at least Graduate degree or equivalent from a recognized University. Candidates having one year or more experience in Government will be given preference.

Age Limit

Candidate age should be below 40 years as on the date of advertisement.

Scope of Duties

Young Professional shall perform duties assigned by the Passport Officer or Head of Office. Duties may include work related to administration, accounts, legal and social media.

Salary Details

No other allowances will be admissible to the Young Professionals.

Period of Engagement

Initially, Young Professional will be engaged for a period of 1 year. After completion of one year, if performance is found satisfactory, the engagement may be extended up to maximum tenure of 3 years with approval of competent authority.

Leave Details

Young Professionals shall be entitled for 08 days of Casual Leave in a calendar year on pro-rata basis and 02 Restricted Holidays. Maternity benefits will be provided as per Maternity Benefit Act, 1961 and Amendment Act, 2017.

Working Hours and Travel Allowance

Working hours will be as per the guidelines of the Passport Office. The Young Professional may sometimes have to work beyond office hours in public interest.

Young Professionals may be required to undertake domestic tours as part of official duties. TA/DA will be allowed as per rules including travel by Air Economy Class or Rail AC Two Tier. Reimbursement for hotel accommodation up to Rs.750 per day, taxi charges up to Rs.225 per day and food expenses up to Rs.800 per day will be allowed.
