SKIMS Soura Research Associate Recruitment 2026, Apply Before 13 April

Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura Srinagar has released an official advertisement inviting applications from eligible candidates for temporary project-based posts. The recruitment is for a DBT (Government of India) funded research project titled “Impact of Genotypic and phenotypic expression of SLCO1B1 gene on Methotrexate dosage in the outcome of acute lymphoblastic leukemia”.

There is one vacancy available for the Research Associate-II post. The appointment will be purely temporary for an initial period of six months. Eligibility Criteria of SKIMS Research Associate Vacancies

Educational Qualification: Ph.D in Biochemistry, Clinical Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology or related field. OR M.Sc. in the above fields with minimum 5 years relevant experience and at least 60% marks from a UGC recognized University.

Desirable Qualification:

• Strong expertise in cell lines and molecular biology techniques.
• Experience in Real-time PCR, Western blot, Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization (FISH), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Bioinformatics.
• Experience in handling at least one research project as Principal Investigator.
• Minimum three years of postdoctoral research experience in relevant field.
• Proven record of scientific publications in SCI journals.

Age Limit: Candidate age should be below 40 years at the time of application.

Salary Details

Project Duration

• The appointment will be purely temporary.
• Initial duration will be six months.
• The tenure may be extended depending upon project duration and performance of the candidate.

Selection Process

The selection process will include:

• The appointment may be terminated with one month notice from either side without assigning any reason.
• The post is purely temporary and does not guarantee regular appointment.
