NC Govt must pacify people amid essential supply concerns: Er Rashid

Srinagar, Mar 28: MP Baramulla Engineer Rashid launched a scathing attack on the government led by Omar Abdullah, stating in Parliament that the administration in Jammu and Kashmir is “under trial” and has failed to address pressing public concerns.

As per an AIP statement, Er Rashid expressed serious concern over the deteriorating condition of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, alleging that the institution is being pushed towards collapse through administrative neglect and systemic mismanagement, putting the future of hundreds of students at risk.

Speaking during the session, Er Rashid said that the university, which is a symbol of pride and identity for the Pir Panjal region of Jammu and Kashmir, is currently facing a severe administrative and academic crisis.

He pointed out that nearly 70 percent of staff positions remain vacant, while key officials including the Registrar have been removed, leaving the institution in disarray.
