Eligibility Criteria of University of Kashmir Vacancies

Civil Engineering	BE/B.Tech and ME/M.Tech in relevant branch with first class in any one of the two degrees. PhD desirable. Candidates with direct PhD after BE/B.Tech may also apply if the degree is in relevant discipline from a recognized University and fulfills UGC regulations.
Mechanical Engineering	Same qualification as Civil Engineering.
Electrical Engineering	Same qualification as Civil Engineering.
Electronics and Communication Engineering	Same qualification as Civil Engineering.
Computer Science and Engineering	Same qualification as Civil Engineering.
Engineering Mathematics	Master’s degree from a recognized University in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade. NET, SET, SLET or PhD required.
Management Studies	Master’s degree from a recognized University in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade. NET, SET, SLET or PhD required.

Terms and Conditions

Applicants are advised to stay in touch with the concerned Dean of the School regarding test date, venue and time.
Candidates are required to deposit Rs 250 per application form and Rs 100 extra for every additional discipline through online mode only.
Selected candidates shall submit an undertaking duly sworn before a 1st class Judicial Magistrate stating that:

The engagement shall be purely on need basis for academic session 2026 and will terminate at the end of the session or when the post is filled on substantive basis.
The selected candidate will have no claim for continuation or regularization of the job.
Wages will be fixed according to qualification and the University norms.
The candidate is not working in any Government or Semi-Government department or any other institute.
