Rouble Nagi Expands Skill Initiatives in LoC Villages

Kupwara: Renowned social activist and founder of the Rouble Nagi Art Foundation, Rouble Nagi, visited the LoC village of Amrohi in Tangdhar with support from the Indian Army.

During the visit, she distributed blankets to needy families and engaged with students, highlighting the urgent need to address the rising drug problem among youth.

Rouble Nagi announced plans to expand skill, art, and digital learning centres across LoC villages to empower women and young people. Two centres are already operational in Tangdhar, with new computer learning facilities set to open in Amrohi and Jabdi.

She lauded the vision of the GOC Kupwara Division for promoting youth engagement through education and constructive initiatives, and appreciated the efforts of the Indian Army and civil administration in fostering border area tourism. The Rouble Nagi Art Foundation pledged full support for the promotion of border and battlefield tourism.
