Chowdry Ramzan holds interaction with Palestine’s Foreign Affairs Minister

Srinagar, Jan 29: Member of Parliament, Chowdry Mohammad Ramzan was invited by Dr Varsen Aghabekian Shahin, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Palestine.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Shahin briefed the attendees on the current political developments and the prevailing ground and humanitarian situation in Palestine, said a statement.

During the interaction, Chowdry Ramzan expressed deep concern over the disturbing and heart-wrenching visuals and reports emerging from Palestine and condemned the violence and suffering of innocent civilians. He expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine and emphasized that there is no military solution to the conflict. He stated that a just, durable, and comprehensive peace can only be achieved through dialogue, diplomacy, and meaningful negotiations, noting that history shows violence deepens divisions, while dialogue opens the path to reconciliation and peace, it added.
