ISRO SAC Scientist/Engineer Recruitment 2026 Apply Online For 49 Posts

Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad, under the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), has released an official notification for the recruitment of Scientist/Engineer posts.

A total of 49 vacancies are available for Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’ and Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ in various disciplines. Eligible Indian nationals can apply online through the official SAC recruitment portal within the prescribed dates. Eligibility Criteria

Nationality
Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the prescribed qualifications such as PhD, M.E., M.Tech, M.Sc (Engg), M.Sc, B.E., B.Tech, or B.Sc in relevant disciplines as per the post applied for. Minimum percentage and CGPA requirements apply as specified in the notification.

Candidates who have pursued professional qualifications through Open and Distance Learning are not eligible.

Age Limit

Age relaxation is applicable for Central Government employees, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India rules.

Salary Details

In addition to basic pay, candidates will be eligible for DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, medical facilities, pension benefits, LTC, insurance, and other allowances as per ISRO norms.

Application Fee

No application fee is required for Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’ posts.

For all other posts, an application fee of Rs. 750 is applicable.
Refund is available to candidates who appear in the written test as per rules mentioned in the notification.
Payment must be made online through Bharatkosh portal only.

Selection Process

For Scientist/Engineer ‘SD’ posts, selection will be based on screening of applications followed by an interview.

For Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ posts, selection will involve a Written Test and Personal Interview.
Final merit will be prepared by giving equal weightage to Written Test and Interview performance.

Applicants should complete registration, fill the online application form, upload required documents, pay the application fee (if applicable), and submit the form before the last date.
