SRINAGAR: The Democratic Medical Association (DMA) India, a national body representing medical students and doctors across the country, has sought early notification of the MBBS Final Year examination datesheet for Batch-2021 students affiliated with the University of Jammu, citing growing academic uncertainty and stress among students.

In a formal representation, DMA India highlighted that the MBBS Final Year examination comprises multiple major clinical subjects with an extensive and demanding syllabus. The association stressed that timely publication of the datesheet is crucial for students to plan their preparation, manage clinical postings, undertake revisions, and align other academic commitments in a structured and effective manner.

The association pointed out that the continued non-publication of the examination schedule has left final-year students struggling to organise their study plans, leading to avoidable confusion and anxiety at a critical stage of their medical education. According to DMA India, the lack of clarity is adversely affecting academic focus and overall preparedness of students who are nearing the culmination of their MBBS training.

In view of these concerns, DMA India has respectfully requested the concerned academic authorities to expedite the process and at least notify the expected date for release of the MBBS Final Year (Batch-2021) examination datesheet at the earliest, in the larger academic interest of students.

Reiterating its commitment to student welfare, DMA India expressed hope for timely intervention by the authorities and assured continued constructive coordination with academic institutions to safeguard the interests of medical students.
