Jammu & Kashmir Police has released the official notification for Constable Recruitment 2026 on 31 December 2025. A total of 669 Constable vacancies have been announced across Armed/IRP, SDRF, Telecommunication and Photographer posts.

Eligibility Criteria of Jammu & Kashmir Police Constable Vacancies

Additional Age Limits:
- In-Service Police Personnel: 18 to 30 years

Domicile Requirement:
The candidate must be a Domicile of Jammu & Kashmir and possess a valid Domicile Certificate issued on or before 2 March 2026.

- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Physical Endurance Test (PET)

Bonus marks will be awarded for NCC certificates as per rules.
Salary Details
Selected candidates will receive salary in Pay Level-2, i.e. Rs. 19,900 – 63,200 along with applicable allowances as per J&K Government norms.
