Jammu Kashmir: Govt Orders Fresh Transfers in Accounts and Treasuries Dept | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered a fresh round of transfers and postings in the Directorate General of Accounts and Treasuries under the Finance Department, citing administrative requirements.

According to Order No. 159-Acctts of 2025 dated December 24, issued by the Director General, Accounts and Treasuries, several Assistant Accounts Officers (AAOs), Assistant Accounts Divisional Officers (AADs) and other officials have been transferred and adjusted at different offices across the Union Territory with immediate effect.

As per the order, Prince Iqbal, AAO/ATO at Sub-Treasury Gurez, has been transferred and posted as AAO in the PW (R and B) Division Gurez, while Aarif Hussain Mir has been shifted from the PW (R and B) Division Gurez to the office of the Chief Medical Officer, Bandipora. Mohd Modasir Lone has been posted as ATO at Sub-Treasury Gurez in place of Prince Iqbal.

Vandhana Sharma has been posted to the Seed Multiplication Farm, Chinore, and Shakuntala Devi has been adjusted in the Nazool Organisation, Jammu. Hemavati has been transferred from BDO Nagrota Gujroo to BDO Mahanpur, while Isma Bashir has been posted to the Civil Construction Division-I, PDC Ganderbal.

Saima Majeed Nasti has been posted in the office of BDO Khoveripora, Ramesh Lal in the Cooperative Department at the Civil Secretariat, Yaseen Aziz in the Directorate of Social Welfare, Kashmir, and Nazir Ahmad Pail in the office of the Executive Engineer, Irrigation and Flood Control Division, Tral.

The order further said Ripu Rajan has been posted in the office of BDO Nagrota Gujroo, Robin Koul in the office of the Director General, Audit and Inspections JK, and Amit Kumar in the office of the Executive Engineer, Mechanical and Hospital Division, Rajouri.

Among the promoted officers, Parshotam Kumar has been posted as AAO in the office of the Assistant Commissioner Development, Udhampur, Neha Slathia in the State Cancer Institute, Jammu, and Tanveer Yaqoob in the office of the DIG Rajouri–Poonch Range.
