PDD Worker Critically Injured After Electric Shock in Ganderbal | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A Power Development Department (PDD) employee sustained critical burn injuries after suffering an electric shock while repairing a transformer in Chatergul area of Kangan in central kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Tuesday.

Sources said that the injured worker was referred from SDH Kangan to SKIMS Soura in a critical condition, with multiple burn injuries.

The employee was repairing a transformer when he accidentally came in contact with a live service line, resulting in a severe electric shock.

He was identified as 45-year-old, resident, of Goripora Kangan, Ganderbal, his condition remains critical. (KNC)
