55-Year-Old Man Critically Injured After Falling from Second Floor in Central Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A 55-year-old man was critically injured after falling from the second floor of his house in Dardpora area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district and was later referred to Srinagar for advanced treatment on Sunday, officials said.

The injured has been identified as Abdul Rehman Itoo, son of Mohammad Sultan, a local of Dardpora. Officials said he was initially taken to Sub District Hospital Chadoora, where doctors provided primary treatment before referring him to SMHS Hospital Srinagar due to the seriousness of his condition.

Hospital sources at SMHS Hospital Srinagar, said the patient was brought in with critical injuries and is currently undergoing treatment.

According to the attendants, the man fell from the second floor of his home.

Police have taken note of the incident and initiated necessary proceedings to ascertain the circumstances leading to the fall. [KNT]
