1 Killed, Another Injured in Road Accident Near Sopore – Alfaaz – The Words

Sopore: A tragic road accident near Potukhah bus stop in Sopore on Monday evening claimed life of a youth from Handwara and left another critically injured.

According to reports, two boys riding a motorcycle lost control and met with an accident, resulting in the death of one on the spot. The deceased has been identified as Shakir Ramzan, son of Mohammad Ramzan Mochi, a resident of Kutlari Sanzipora in Kupwara district.

The injured has been identified as Imran Ahmed Mochi, son of Nazir Ahmed Mochi, who was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, from where he was taken to a Srinagar hospitalfor preferential treatment.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further investigation into the cause of the accident.
