Govt ‘misleading’ people over free electricity promise: G M Shaheen

Srinagar, Oct 18: JDU Party President GM Shaheen on Friday said the CM Omar Abdullah led government had mislead the people of J&K with “false promises” regarding the provision of 200 units of free electricity, employment opportunities, and free gas cylinders.

The JDU leader accused CM Omar Abdullah of “frequent U-turns and shifting stances on crucial issues like smart meters and public welfare had shattered public faith in his leadership.”
