19-Year-Old Girl Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances in Jammu Kashmir | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A 19-year-old girl was found hanging under mysterious circumstances at her home in the Pogal Paristan area of Ramban district in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday, officials said.

Officials said that information regarding the incident involving the girl, a resident of the Hoochak area of Tehsil Pogal Paristan, was received in the afternoon.

Soon after receiving the information, a police team from Police Post Ukhral rushed to the spot and initiated the necessary legal formalities.

Officials said teams from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) and the District Mobile Forensic Unit (DMFU) were also informed and reached the spot to examine the scene of occurrence.

Further proceedings under the relevant sections of law are underway. (JKNS)
