Baramulla: The Chinar Nau-Jawan Club in Boniyar, Baramulla, came alive on Saturday with the vibrant Ruh-e-Kashmir Cultural Celebration, a collaborative initiative by the Indian Army and The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), in association with REACHA.

The event sought to promote Kashmir’s rich cultural heritage, enhance skill development among youth, and strengthen civil-military ties.

The day-long celebration showcased a colourful medley of Kashmiri music, dance, and art, capturing the essence of the Valley’s timeless traditions. Audiences applauded the performances and the organizers’ commitment to nurturing cultural expression alongside vocational training.

One of the event’s key highlights was the felicitation of the first batch of trainees under the ongoing skill development program. Participants who completed courses in Food & Beverage Services and Bakery & Culinary Arts received certificates recognizing their dedication and achievement.

With over a hundred attendees, including local residents and dignitaries, the festival provided a platform for community engagement and youth interaction with professionals from hospitality and cultural sectors.

The Ruh-e-Kashmir initiative continues to symbolize the shared resolve of the Indian Army, IHCL, and REACHA to empower Kashmir’s youth and preserve its cultural vibrancy. Locals expressed deep appreciation for the Army’s role in supporting community welfare and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities across the region.
