US National Found Dead in Srinagar | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: An 83-year-old United States national was found dead in Srinagar on Wednesday after reportedly falling unconscious in the morning, officials said.

Official sources said that the foreign tourist was shifted to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

The deceased has been identified as Anderson John David, a resident of Washington DC, United States, sources said.

They said the body was later shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for medico-legal formalities, including a full-body CT scan.

Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further proceedings. (JKNS)
