Two LeT Associates Held With Arms in North Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Two LeT associates were apprehended by security forces at Malpora Nowgam area of Sumbal in North Kashmir’s Bandipora on Sunday.

Officials said that a joint naka was established by police and army, during searches two LeT associates were arrested along with arms and ammunition.

From their possession, 2 Chinese grenades, 2 UBGL Grenades and 10 rounds of AKs were recovered. They have been identified as Ab Majid Gojri resident of SK Bala and Ab Hamid Dar resident of Vijpara.

Meanwhile, police have registered a relevant case Under UAPA in this regard and investigation has been taken up. (GNS)
