Srinagar Records 31°C, Kupwara Hottest in Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Most areas in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh recorded near-normal to slightly varied maximum temperatures on Monday, according to data compiled by Kashmir Weather.

In the Kashmir region, Srinagar recorded a maximum of 31.0°C, 0.3°C above normal. Qazigund registered 30.6°C (2.0°C above normal), Pahalgam 27.6°C (1.4°C above normal), Kupwara 32.6°C (1.5°C above normal), Kokernag 29.6°C (1.6°C above normal), while Gulmarg stood at 21.0°C, 0.8°C below normal.

In the Jammu region, Jammu city recorded 33.9°C, 1.5°C below normal. Banihal reported 29.5°C (0.2°C above normal), Batote 27.3°C (0.2°C below normal), Bhaderwah 28.6°C (2.4°C below normal), and Katra 30.2°C (2.0°C below normal).

In Ladakh, Leh recorded a maximum of 26.5°C, and Kargil stood at 31.1°C.
