Natiya mehfil witnesses enthusiastic participation

Srinagar, Mar 16: Chairman of Tahreek-e-Tasawuf, Farooq Renzushah presided over a momentous Tasawuf Samaa Saadaat Natiya event organized by Angel’s Cultural Academy and Shahar e Khass Literary & Cultural Foundation. The gathering highlighted the essence of Natiya poetry in celebrating the divine.

During the event, Renzushah and Mufti Adil Noorani emphasized the importance of maintaining peace in Kashmir, achieved after tremendous sacrifices over four decades of turmoil. They recognised the efforts of individuals and organizations dedicated to restoring tranquility in the region, underscoring the influential role of Tasawuf in fostering brotherhood and compassion. “The assembly was enriched by the presence of notable religious figures, including Mufti Miyan Adil Noorani, a distinguished Hanafi scholar of Kashmir. The new generation of Nawat Khwans captivated the audience with their enchanting recitations, celebrating the legacy of the Great Prophet Rasool Akram and the Awliya of Kashmir,” said a press release.

Khwaja Renzushah credited the revered Tasawuf legends of Shahar-e-Khass for ushering in a renaissance of unity and spiritual enlightenment in Kashmir. He acknowledged Hazrat Abdul Rahman Bulbulshah’s profound impact, alongside King Padmasambhava and Queen Kota Rani Reshi, in safeguarding the region from invasions and enriching its cultural and spiritual heritage.
