Shrikant Balasaheb Suse Takes Over as Deputy Commissioner Kupwara – Alfaaz – The Words

Kupwara: Shrikant Balasaheb Suse, IAS, officially assumed charge as Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Kupwara district on Thursday, succeeding Ayushi Sudan, IAS, who has been transferred to Samba in the same capacity.

A 2016-batch officer of the AGMUT cadre, Suse previously served as the Managing Director of the Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Corporation Limited (JPDCL). Upon his arrival, Suse was warmly received at the DC Office by outgoing DC Kupwara Ayushi Sudan besides Additional Deputy Commissioner Gulzar Ahmad, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Mumtaz Ahmad, and other senior staff members.

Shortly after taking charge, DC Suse held an interaction with officers of the district administration to acquaint himself with the ongoing administrative affairs and to seek first-hand feedback on key functions and priorities.

Emphasizing a citizen-centric approach, Suse called for close coordination among all departments and urged officers to work collectively towards ensuring efficient, transparent, and accountable governance.

Suse expressed his commitment to strengthening service delivery mechanisms and addressing public grievances with a proactive outlook.
