Punjab Carpenter Found Dead in Srinagar | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A non-local man was found dead in the Nishat area of Srinagar on Sunday, officials said.

An official said that the deceased has been identified as Malkeet Singh, a resident of Amritsar, Punjab, presently residing in Nishat, Srinagar.

He was around 25 years old and was working as a carpenter in the Valley, the official said.

Officials said he was shifted to SMHS Hospital in an unconscious condition, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Police have initiated further investigation into the incident. (JKNS)
