President Murmu Condoles Loss of Lives in Udhampur Road Mishap | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: President Droupadi Murmu on Monday conveyed her condolences over the loss of lives in a bus accident in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir.

In a post on X, the President said she was deeply saddened by the tragic incident that claimed several lives. She extended her sympathies to the bereaved families and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the accident.

Earlier this morning, fifteen persons were killed and sixteen others injured after a passenger bus met with an accident near the Jalo area on the Ramnagar–Udhampur route.

The accident occurred around 10 a.m. when the bus was negotiating a blind curve near Kagort village in the Ramnagar area.
