Man Held with Grenade During Checking in North Kashmir

SRINAGAR: Security forces on Saturday apprehended a man during a joint Naka check at Shaloora Crossing in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Police sources said that the individual, identified as Tanveer Ahmad, was stopped near a petrol pump, where one Chinese grenade and a mobile phone were recovered from his possession.

They said that a case has been registered, and further investigation is underway. (KNC)
