Lightning Strike Damages House in Jammu Kashmir Village | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: A residential house was completely damaged after a lightning strike hit Azmatabad village in the Thannamandi area of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir, on Wednesday evening.

Officials said that at around 6:20 PM, lightning struck the house belonging to Mohd Gafoor, son of Ahmed Din, a resident of Azmatabaad. The impact of the strike caused extensive damage to the structure.

However, no loss of life or injuries have been reported in the incident.

Authorities have taken note of the situation, and further assessment of damages is underway.(KNC)
