Kathua admin holds training for field census functionaries

Kathua, Mar 16: A three-day district-level training programme on House Listing and Housing Census (HLO) for the upcoming Census of India 2027 commenced on Monday at the Conference Hall of the DC Office complex Kathua.

The training programme, as per an official statement, is being conducted under the close supervision of Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Sharma, who is also Principal Census Officer.  The Directorate of Census Operations Jammu and Kashmir has coordinated the event.

Addressing the participants, the DC highlighted the significance of the census exercise and stressed the need for effective coordination among Charge Level Officers and census field functionaries for the smooth and successful conduct of Census 2027.
