Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission on Thursday rejected media and social media reports questioning the fairness of the J&K Civil Services Judicial Main Examination 2025, asserting that the examination process is completely transparent and merit based.
In a statement issued here, the JKPSC said examinations are conducted in a completely fair manner with no scope for bias, manipulation, or external influence. The Commission stated that selection and recruitment of candidates are carried out strictly on merit and in accordance with prescribed rules, irrespective of religion, region, or language.
The Commission said every candidate is treated equally and the entire process follows established rules and procedures. It added that robust safeguards are in place to ensure full transparency and objectivity at every stage of the examination.
Highlighting the evaluation mechanism, the JKPSC said the assessment process follows the highest standards of confidentiality and security. The system is designed in a way that evaluators cannot ascertain the identity of any candidate while checking answer scripts, making the process fool proof and immune to influence or interference.
The Commission reiterated that strict anonymity and an uncompromising evaluation framework guarantee objectivity and fairness in letter and spirit. It said the institution remains committed to integrity, fairness, and moral responsibility in all recruitment processes.
The JKPSC further informed that the J&K Civil Services Judicial Main Examination 2025 was conducted from November 16 to November 26, 2025, at examination centres in Jammu and Srinagar.
