Jammu Kashmir IAS Officer Transferred to Punjab Cadre After Inter-Cadre Marriage Approval | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India, has approved the inter-cadre transfer of 2023-batch IAS officer Pallavi Mishra from the AGMUT cadre (Jammu and Kashmir) to the Punjab cadre following her marriage to Punjab cadre IAS officer Aditya Sharma, also from the 2023 batch.

According to an official order issued by the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, the transfer has been made under Rule 5(2) of the IAS (Cadre) Rules, 1954, with the concurrence of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Government of Punjab. The decision facilitates cadre alignment on grounds of marriage between the two officers.

Pallavi Mishra is presently serving as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Marh.
