Jammu Kashmir: Govt Orders Transfers, Posting in Finance Department | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday ordered a series of transfers, postings and additional charge assignments in the Finance Department, with immediate effect, in the interest of administration.

According to Government Order issued by the Finance Department, Latief Ahmad Poswal, Director Finance in the Jal Shakti Department, has been assigned the additional charge of Director Finance, Power Development Department, until Zahoor Ahmad Wani returns from leave.

Shwokat Ali Rather, District Treasury Officer, Budgam, has been given additional charge as District Treasury Officer and Chief Accounts Officer, District Fund Office, Ganderbal, while Ershad-ul-Haq Khan Manhas, Chief Accounts Officer, District Fund Office, Shopian, will also hold the charge of District Treasury Officer, Shopian, both till the respective incumbents return from leave.

Among the transfers, Vriti Uppal has been posted as Accounts Officer in the Directorate of Agriculture, Jammu, Vijay Singh as Accounts Officer in Municipal Council, Doda, Jagteshwar Singh as Accounts Officer in the Civil Aviation Department, and Vishnu Kant Sharma as Accounts Officer in the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission.

Mohd Syed Pir has been posted as Additional Treasury Officer, District Treasury, Kupwara, while Romesh Kumar Bhagat has been transferred as Accounts Officer to Municipal Council, Kishtwar.

Further, Surjeet Kumar has been posted as Accounts Officer, Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services, JK, Raj Kumar as Accounts Officer, Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Akhnoor, and Hilal Ahmad Wani has been assigned additional charge as Accounts Officer, Chief Engineer, Mechanical and Hospital Engineering Department, Kashmir.

The order also assigns additional charge to Fayaz Ahmad Wani, Abhinn Raina, Abdul Rashid Bhat, Munish Kumar Spolia and Kuldeep Kumar in various departments until further orders.

The order has been issued by the Finance Department and takes effect immediately.
