The Intelligence Bureau (IB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has officially announced the recruitment of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade-II/Executive posts. The IB ACIO 2025 notification, published in the Employment Newspaper dated 19–25 July 2025, invites online applications for a total of 3717 vacancies across India.
The application process begins on 19 July 2025 and ends on 10 August 2025. Eligible graduates between the ages of 18 and 27 can apply online at www.mha.gov.in. The recruitment process includes Tier-I and Tier-II written exams followed by an interview.
As per the official details, selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level-7 with a salary ranging from ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400 plus allowances. Candidates are advised to go through the detailed notification before applying to ensure they meet all eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must possess a Graduation degree or its equivalent from a recognized university. Basic knowledge of computers is desirable.
The age limit is 18 to 27 years as of 10 August 2025. Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved categories, departmental candidates, and ex-servicemen as per government rules.

Exam Pattern:
Tier-I: 100 MCQs on Current Affairs, General Studies, Numerical Aptitude, English, and Reasoning (1 mark each, ¼ negative marking). Cut-off: UR/EWS: 35, OBC: 34, SC/ST: 33.
Tier-II: Essay (20 marks), English Comprehension (10 marks), and Long Answer Questions (20 marks). Minimum qualifying marks: 17/50.
Interview: 100 marks
