India-U.S. Space Partnership Enters New Orbit | NASA, ISRO Big Push

India and the United States are taking their strategic partnership beyond Earth and into space. Highlighting the growing NASA-ISRO collaboration, U.S. Ambassador to India, Sergio Gor praised India as a “trusted partner” in advanced space exploration and technology. The successful launch of the $1.5 billion NISAR mission marked the largest bilateral space initiative between the two nations, while the Axiom-4 mission sent an Indian astronaut to space for the first time since 1984. The partnership is now expanding further with India invited to join the Artemis program aimed at returning humans to the Moon. India’s booming commercial space sector, rising satellite launches, and new 100% FDI norms are also opening massive opportunities for global investment, innovation, and strategic cooperation in the fast-growing space economy.
