GMC Rajouri Reschedules Junior Resident Exam Due to Bad Weather

SRINAGAR: The Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri on Friday announced the postponement of the written examination for the post of Junior Residents, which was earlier scheduled for August 31, 2025, citing inclement weather conditions.

According to the notification issued by Principal GMC Rajouri, Prof (Dr) AS Bhatia, the examination will now be conducted on September 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Mehra Campus.

The earlier schedule had been fixed through office notice GMCR/2025-26/3495-96 dated August 14, 2025.

Officials said the revised date has been communicated to the Health and Medical Education Department, JK Secretariat, and uploaded on the GMC Rajouri website for wider information.
