Elderly Woman Killed in Pulwama Road Mishap

SRINAGAR: An elderly woman lost her life in a road accident in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday, officials said.

The accident took place at Gudura Pulwama when an unknown load carrier auto hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK13C-8075.

He said she was immediately shifted to District Hospital Pulwama, where doctors declared her brought dead.

The deceased was later identified as Hajra Begum (60), wife of Mohammad Akbar Wani, resident of Loswani Newa.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident.—(KNC)
