DSEJ announces 5-day Pooja holidays from Oct 19

Jammu, Oct 15: The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) Wednesday announced 5-day Pooja holidays in the government educational institutions and recognised private schools, up to higher secondary level, in Jammu division, from October 19, 2025.

“It is hereby ordered that all the government educational institutions and also recognized private schools up to higher secondary level (summer and winter zones) of Jammu division shall observe Pooja Holidays with effect from October 19 to 23, 2025,” Director School Education, Jammu said, in the order.

Meanwhile, the Jammu University Wednesday postponed all examinations, scheduled to be held on October 20, 22 and 23, 2025 due to upcoming festivals.

It notified that fresh dates for the postponed exams would be announced separately in due course of time.

The students have been asked to regularly check the university website for updates.
