Court Allows MP Er Rashid to Attend Upcoming Union Budget Session – Alfaaz – The Words

Srinagar: The Court of the Additional Sessions Judge at Patiala House Courts, Delhi, has granted permission to Member Parliament Engineer Rashid to attend the forthcoming Budget Session of Parliament, which is scheduled to begin on January 28.

The order was passed by Additional Sessions Judge Prashant Sharma, who allowed the request subject to conditions that had been imposed earlier by the court.

The judge further observed that the matter relating to travel expenses would be decided in accordance with the outcome of the appeal presently pending before the Delhi High Court.

As per the court’s directions, Engineer Rashid will attend the parliamentary proceedings while remaining in judicial custody.

Engineer Rashid was represented before the court by Advocates Vikhyat Oberoi, Nishita Gupta, Shivam Prakash, and Ravi.
